FUNCTIONS
1 To take charge of admissions, registration, and graduation of students
2 To keep, maintain, and prepare students’ academic records and data
3 To keep and update academic catalogues, student directories and announcements related to academic programs of UPV
4 To serve as Secretariat of the following: University Council, Chancellor’s Advisory Council, Executive Committee, Curriculum Committee, Committee on Student’s Admission, Progress, and Graduation.
5 To conduct in-house research on academic matters in support of programs, projects, and policies of UPV academic affairs.
OUR SERVICES
Admission, Registration, and Curriculum
Attends admission processes for various student types, including evaluating credentials, processing applications, and issuing admission slips. Acts as local coordinator during the administration of the UPCAT, provides secretarial support for the curriculum committee, and indexes all newly instituted, adopted, revised and abolished courses and programs.
Transcript of Records, Certifications, and Diploma Services
Processes and issues various academic documents including Official Transcripts of Records (OTR), authenticated documents, letter of no objection (LONO), honorable dismissal, and certifications. Manages communications, inquiries, and mailing regarding the documents requested.
Record Management and Evaluation
Managing and maintaining of student academic records from admission to graduation, including evaluation of eligibility for readmission, honorific scholarship, latin honors, and graduation while also processing verification requests and University clearances, generating reports, encoding student data into CRSIS, and responding to related inquiries.
Information Systems (CRSIS & OADRTS)
Manages and maintains the in-house information systems, Computerized Registration and Student Information System (CRSIS) and Online Academic Document Request and Tracking System (OADRTS). Attends end-users queries regarding usage, data modifications and other CRS-related concerns. Provides statistical data on enrollment and other academic-related information.
Administrative Services
Assisting the University Registrar on administrative matters and committee works, providing secretarial services to university meetings, managing communications and files, overseeing budgets and reimbursements, handling personnel matters, supervising staff, managing office supplies, preparing the Commencement program and budget, and drafting academic calendars.
